Fantastic Fall New England Weekend
Many of you know I’ve been traveling a lot lately, and that’s pulled me away from home at one of my favorite times of the year. These past couple of days I was finally treated to a perfect fall New England weekend. We had a bit of an Indian Summer happening, with temperatures in the low 70’s, which meant things were still brisk enough to be comfortable with long-sleeves. On Saturday morning, we took a family walk through a local corn maze. Saturday night had Fling playing acoustic (1800’s style… no mics!) at a Halloween-ish party in an old Victorian-style house. Sunday the kids and I started the day building and flying all sorts of paper airplanes, then went to a community Halloween-ish event in the afternoon. After that, we came home to watch both the Patriots and the Red Sox confirm our New England pride.
It just doesn’t get much better than this, folks. I’m glad to be home.
